No Excuse For No Name Poem by Crystal Pierce

No Excuse For No Name

Rating: 5.0

I said hello when we met.
I talked about my life, my home, and pet.
Told you my name,
And favorite video game.
But you said nothing!
Just stood there and said nothing.
When I spoke to you,
all you would do,
would mimic my lips,
And the placement of my hands on my hips.
Then I realized what was going on.
I was looking in a mirror!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Just thought it was funny how sometimes we look in a mirror and don't realize that's its us. It's weird.
