No Glasses At The Necessary. Poem by Peter Vealey

No Glasses At The Necessary.

Rating: 5.0

I always leave a pen
Somewhere, anywhere vague.
In the middle of the night.
While looking kindly
For inspiration, not cliches.
The night is young,
And I am old,
But not in mind or heart.
Save me from quotations.
Are we all just passing strangers,
Or God-given Eve and Adam?
