No Liberty
No liberty
Only needy
Cry over liberty
Rest all flee for safety
Or pray in camps to an almighty
Like death rain
It causes pain
On followers of God
With lots of agony and load
Who sings about liberty and freedom?
Where lays wisdom?
Who pulls life's chariot?
An answer can be given by only idiot
Who shall ensure?
We are not sure
Only intelligent people advocate
And we listen to what they propagate!
I shall prefer
And order
For normal life
Where I can breathe with no fear of knife
What is this news to hear?
People are gunned down while offering prayers
Bomb blast is heard when people are on buying spree
Life has become cheap and free
We are killing own brethren
And then expressing concern
We want supremacy for fancy and imagination
As if our reservation is made in heaven
The people who cherish liberty the most are the ones who have never had it. To kill someone is to denigrate the rights of liberty. A good poem.

Pamela Moorehead well written piece no pun intended; I was listening earlier to a book of the Bible that state Jesus is peace the usher and the spirit of peace; when I see people being killed because of their religious belief no matter what that belief is it concerns me, as a society we are too quick to jump to conclusions without fact checking and I come from a generation that believe in protest and was effective in that era, this poem makes me reflect in silence our world how far advanced in one way and how far behind in others Unlike · Reply · 1 · 2 hrs
