No Light No Sunshine Blues Poem by Terence George Craddock

No Light No Sunshine Blues

sometimes people must go
because like a precious flower
they are dying withering inside

with the sorrow of no light no sunshine
the pain of no water drying up from within
a suffocating death no light no sunshine

flowers are not meant to wither die in darkness

people often leave
not because they want to go
but because they cannot stay
