No More The Same

no more the same

the soul blisters its cage

in a blue lightning rage against the grounded flights

of earth's inconstancy

stand on the wheel of time

and do not faint

when the sky crushes in and the clouds are

falling even in the raspberry light

and the singing birds fly helplessly

into the silver abyss with their language of

meadowsweet, meadowsweet

beyond earth there is bliss

after numb lamentation

hold on;

wait for the lilac passages to come

God understands

your plight.it won't be long.
