In marriage there is only one you
–––– and many seasons
No matter the outer changes
It’s getting to know you
–––– the you of each other
The faces we wear today
fade away
springs and summers come and go
In the fall we’ll shed our leaves
delve deeper deeper
in the dark dark winter
until we find
the true you of our love
without the promise of spring.
