No Time Poem by Peter S. Quinn

No Time

No time to dwell
the night's coming through,
I am under a spell
just talking to you.
I felt your singing
so early this day,
now eve it is bringing
as dark comes to play.

I am feeling the luck
in the hours falling,
I am never though stuck
from dreams calling.
Tomorrow is not here
but soon it will be,
let us give and share
for love is still free.

No time to give
yesterdays are gone,
just memories to revive
for life to carry on.
We are not here
just times turning around,
feelings inside everywhere
are now again found.

She loves you forever
but dreams do not stay,
if you are not together
they just go away.
Like flowers do fall
when summer is gone,
the day has made its call
and now the night is on.

No Time - No time to dwell…
