No To Yes Poem by Tiffany Wolf

No To Yes

A boy looked at this girl he adored,
'Will you be my friend? '
'NO,
I will not! '
'Will you love me for a long time, '
'NO! '
The boy got down on one knee,
'Will you be my wife? '
'Absolutely not, '
The boy began to cry.
She lifted his chin, 'Don't cry, '
'Why not? '
'Because,
I want to be more than your friend.
I don't want to be just another girlfriend, '
She took a breath, and kissed him longingly.
'I will not love you a long time,
I will love, honor and cherish you forever.
And I will not be your wife,
I will be your life long friend and soul mate.'
'You will do all of those things? '
It used to be a NO, but now it's a YES!

This is a wonderful writing. It tells a great story about love. The message is absolutely true in love. Wisdom beyond your years. The structure was great as well. The presentation was exactly what it should have been. GW62
