Poetry in motion,
Is akin to the ocean,
There's calm, the next day a storm,
Both give you the notion,
By showing devotion,
With either, you've no need to conform.

Your personal style,
Let no-one defile,
Don't ever fear the unknown,
Utilise your guile,
Ignore any bile,
Off course, don't ever be blown.

Being unique,
You've no need to seek,
You'll know when it's time to begin,
Write with mystique,
Learn from critique,
True talent emanates from within.

Let writing be fun,
Enjoy what you've done,
Ignore those who creep up by stealth,
Those tales they've spun,
You can easily shun,
Remember, contentment is wealth.

To remain in control,
Do not sell your soul,
If you do, it's you who will lose,
Make it your goal,
That you will remain whole,
By doing whatever you choose.

Having self-belief,
Will save you from grief,
Though you're part of a literary crew,
Being commander in chief,
Will bring you relief,
