North Or South Poem by Randy McClave

North Or South

We were once caring and wise
In honor and helpfulness around the world we were known,
Around the world we had colleagues, friends and allies
Wherever we went honor and smiles were thrown.
We did not want evil or disease to ever spread,
So, with help of all kind we always led.

We fought against dictatorships and communism
Whenever they tried to take over people's lives and land,
We stood against slavery, tyranny and racism
Then we landed on the foreign beaches sand.
There patriotically and proudly we always stood,
We fought for the righteous, the God fearing and the good.

We once proudly had allies to our North
We once knowingly had allies to the South,
Now our enemies everywhere around the world comes forth
Because, of a presidents lying hateful mouth.
Now if we ever have another conflict or war,
No longer will we have allies at our front or back door.
