Not A Leecher - Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

You know what you want
And what you want
You know you don't want that with me.

Although I might have it!

You think I'm like those who don't know
Who they are
Or what they want to be.

And I know who I am!

I'm not a leecher
But I know some things
I could teach you.

I'm not above
Or do I want
To be either beneath you!

Come stand beside me!

You know what you want
And what you want
You know you don't want that with me.

You think I'm like those who don't know
Who they are
Or what they want to be.

And I know who I am!

I'm not a leecher
But I know some things
I could teach you.

I'm not above
Or do I want
To be either beneath you!

Come stand beside me!
Why deny what can be?

You know what you want
And what you want
You know you don't want that with me.

You think I'm like those who don't know
Who they are
Or what they want to be.

Although I might have it!
I'll prove that and show it too!
