Not Able To Heal Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Not Able To Heal

Truth wounds the liar.
Not able to heal.
And unable to be consoled.
Like a child.
Refusing to accept,
The seriousness of their misdeeds.
Or why they have been shown,
Updated ways others have,
To keep deceivers feeling...
As if being mentally scolded.
Reminded and invisibly attacked.
By those they have victimized,
Performing a different kind of payback!

Not able to heal.
But made to feel it felt,
A doing done to intend wrong to do...
Is not right.
And will be shown to make known,
Who it is that has had enough...
Of being thought a fool.
This...
No one should do to anyone,
Who displays an interest.
Yet...
Taken for granted and treated disrespectfully!
