Not Coming After Me Poem by Randy McClave

He cried they're not coming after me they're coming after you
That statement is so very laughable and of course untrue,
I have never lied or cheated or stole or broke the law
So, from the police or the FBI I will not ever expect a call.
I don't own a gun and I am not a terrorist
I never broke into any government office to harm or shake my fist,
And I know that I am not better than any other man
And I don't support supremacy like the Ku Klux Klan.
I never post lies while pretending them to be the truths
Never would I believe tampering inside of voting booths,
And never was I apart of attacking the government to overturn an election
And never to an evil foreign leader do I hold a respect or affection.
Every year I always patriotically pay my tax
I have never took or stolen any top secret documents or acts,
And I will never betray my country of the United States
I will proudly protect and defend her at all of her gates.
I have always donated and helped the church and the needy
And I never falsify my deeds or acts as would the liars and the seedy,
So, why would you say that the government is coming after me
Are you truly that blinded that the facts you can no longer see.
And this of course is something else with a smile I must always say
Many times daily unto the Lord God I still do happily pray,
And of course I never boast or lie and I never cheat neither
And besides the government, the Devil is not coming after me either.
