Not Enough Words To Span The Ocean Poem by Fallen Too Far

I miss you darling
I still think about you
All the time
Is it silly, really?
My thoughts are engraved
In the curves of your face
And my tears match the beats in your heart
I write and nothing comes
But words to sing your direction
Over those million miles
I want to send the sweet melody
That I have composed

But the air is so still
And I can't open my mouth
For even if I could
My words would run dry
For they are so inadequate
By far
And I feel an ache
It's been there since we parted
Every time I think of you
Or read your sweet words
I feel it
And I am just that much sadder
But I am not completely
Because it was you
Who taught me to smile
When the clouds poured out their violent stutters
And when the world came to a halt
And when everything seemed to die
So I think of you and as I write this
To tell you that Im still here
On the other end, just waiting
Til the sun shines again
Becuase I know it will
And I still pray for you
On the other side of your day
And I hope that you are well

I hold you in my heart, and carry you everywhere with me
