What separates Dr. Johnson from
Sr. Valdez the yard maintenance man?
both have fit bodies
wonderful wives
a couple of kids
a car or two
and food

what keeps them from
going to the same gym?
the same restaurants?
big ball games

what keeps ones teeth in great shape
and keeps the other one's
a declining mess?

the evil that divides brothers
is currency
MONEY
those who amass
and hoard great piles
will be the laughing stock
at the Pearly Gates
jesus lacked patience
with the money
managers and hoarders of the world

He bypassed their sick kingdoms of greed
and specialness
show the way
to the simpletons,
the direct way to being free
and the cost was free
free from all
without cost, no currency involved
one would have to be free
to take the free gift
of freedom
freely given
always
