Not So Careful O Man Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Not So Careful O Man

________________________________________________
The birds and bees and beasts on earth once wondered why man is so hurried, harried, and worried. He hardly lives his life, forget enjoying it. And they thought of advising him. There is no information on if or not man accepted their advice, but it does not look so.

Be not O man so careful with your life,
In Nature's scheme a life's like a grey leaf,
Soon as falls turneth into dust beneath.

Life is no life unless with death is rife,
Look at that dewdrop dangling on a blade
Of grass, so how its life is lofty made.

Wonder why you highly hold human life,
Dwell on bubbles that barely stay afloat,
They worry not if they get no life boat.

Fine, life is precious, so is every life,
Life's journey still has enough time ahead
Ills are not if callously committed.

If vigilant and watchful be your style,
Why panic still, each soul gets a fair chance,
O to make most whilst destiny may dance.

A lot there be in life to do, you think,
A human birth's rare and still rather brief,
Look at a bubble still, dew-drop, or leaf.

Look, they all still live their life to the full,
So, make it Man a little more sunny,
Begin now; better late than none any.
