Not To Believe Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Internally I felt bold enough
To say freely and laugh
I stood with lesser evils
And certainly with sense to feel

What was I not doing occasionally?
Speaking untruth many times really
Escape from delicate situation with lies
And still present it as if I really believed in truth

It is alright when we say” We are human “
There is nothing wrong to claim errors in common
“Everybody errs so I do” can not stand high
It is not good stand or right attitude

One thing has to be believed
For anything we go to god
We pray with guilty conscience
And ask reprieve with consequence

No one can be perfect
Each person may have some angle for fact
Yet he may fail to understand
Act contrary despite known stand

It is agreed and forgiven
We are not biased or permanently driven
We really want to live
But certain things force us not to believe
