Nothing Else That Can Be Said Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Nothing Else That Can Be Said

There is nothing else that can be said,
Regarding that which has been stated.

'Do you wish for us to clarify your comments.
They seem too profound to be left without definition.
Uh...excuse me.
Do you wish for us to clarify your comments.
They seem too profound to be left without definition.'

~He appears to be plugging his ears with cotton.
And using adhesive tape to cover his mouth.
I thought you said he would jump at the opportunity,
To voice his opinion? ~

'I am sure this is a stunt.'

~Was his exit through that door part of this 'stunt'?
I thought you said you knew him? ~
