Nothing Is Wrong Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Nothing Is Wrong

Rating: 5.0

Nothing is wrong with country and people
The new generation has got it without struggle
The prison and exile scenes are rarely seen
The past crusade has disappeared in golden book

The country is for, by and off the people
“Provide everything free” with minimum trouble
Politicians can have easy share
Small fishes to try and dare

Mother earth cries in wilderness
We have no “Buddhas”* to smile on face
If you can really believe me
it is simple treachery

Alladin* had magic lamp
We have rubber stamp
We are paid in cash
Why to cry and make rush?

Democracy may thrive
We may also wish and strive
The blood in veins is polluted
The spirit for motherland is diluted

• Lord Budhha
• Alladin.. fiction character
