Nothing On Tv Poem by Dorsey Baker

he turned his tv on
turned the volume down
then he began to watch
this beautiful
girl appeared upon the tv
screen
her mouth began moving
her lips
taking on all kinds
of shapes and sizes
the movement of her lips
continued
for about one hour or more
her eyes
did not seem to be
paying attention to nothing at all
it seems that
whatever she was trying to say
was taking her a very
long time
to get to the point!
he got tired of watching
her lips move
so he turned the tv off!
