Nothing To Grow Poem by Meredith B.

Nothing To Grow

Do you ever think
That winter might feel left out
With nothing to grow?

spring and summer get all the

Cherry blossom trees,
Milkweed and daisies,
Chrysanthemums wherever you turn
Nothing's left for winter

Do you think maybe
Winter would like just one time
To be home to buzzing bees

Or maybe it wants
To be a home for the songbirds
But will never be.
