November Poem by Nosheen Irfan

November

A silent smog hanging above
The roads awaiting the fall of leaves
I sense your departure in the blur
A shadow moving away noiselessly
New dreams cannot weave a pattern
The city air is thick with blunders of years
As past was discarded in the wrong way
While away in the distance only smoke rises
Words are afraid of themselves.
