November Night Poem by Christal Carpenter

November Night

Rating: 0.5

Born on a dreary day in October
In the year 1990
She cried when she came out
Of her mothers womb
Maybe she knew what life had in store
She had to grow up by the time she was 4
Lets jump ahead to age 14
Were her life felt like a bad dream
It all started with her friends and a boy
Traitors and cheaters she loves no more
She sat on her floor on a warm summers day
and there she sat,
The 1st time she cut her pain away
Clothed in black the 1st day back to school
She had a few friends but none of them true
Her wrist hidden in cloth, and bracelets if she could
Family, friends and boys alike
Drove her to madness on a cold Novembers night
There she stood wanting to die
Blood on her arm, she broke down and cried
This is scary don't you see
For this girl resembles me
