I felt the tears you have cried
and seen your dreams fade away
I felt that love you wanted that only died
running from a past of yesterday

I seen in you your fear
how you only tried
hiding behind all the pain
I know the tears you have tasted
on the years that were only wasted
those same ones I have cried too
now you only want them gone
and now he will never hurt you again

I will be here to help you through
so now you will never be alone
and I wont be leaving anytime soon
so look up at the moon
and see it shining bright
and I will be there with you tonight
no longer will you have to fight
everything now will be alright
cause now I will be always here
and will always love you
