* Nuclear Family Nuked Poem by Terence George Craddock

* Nuclear Family Nuked

Rating: 5.0

once the fashionable social nuclear family
was promoted as a perfect modern model
of a solid safe home good family pedigree

an older archaic extended family
incorporating loved grandparents
was already grandparents deleted

now not tended terminated
divorced separated nuclear family
has been negatively nuked

isolated solo parent pressure providing
is often hardship economically suffering fretting
is exhausted half functional gender balancing

running solo couple-less half dysfunctional
is a modern society basic family building block
a divorce ravenous virus has nuked families
