Nude Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Nude

Nude

It is long, very long
Days and weeks, many months
Even years
Words freeze, turn to rocks
Block mouth

"Oh Dear..."

I start and stop; then blocked
"In your face and your eyes
In your cheeks and smiles
In your hair, color, look..."

My tongue's nailed, my mouth's locked
I am shy
Words stop
I use force and dig in.

"...you are more attractive, heart shaking..."

Then again barrier
I try, I try, I try

"...than by shape of body
That body, which you are
Encouraged to expose, "

I recall your waist and two breasts
Further down to your toes,
I can see pigeons' chicks' yellow hair at elbows

I murmur: "She's too young."

Then I think:
"She is nude for reason; for my eyes nothing left to search for."

Yes Dear
Revisit exposing fully nude; think again, use your mind, remain wise.
