O Dear Soldiers
O dear soldiers
The nation is on your shoulder
We need you on border
To keep the country intact and in order
No one can deny you your rights
But you need not fight
Even though it has taken many years
Keep no ill will in mind with fears
Yes, billions of rupees are spent
But not a word is spelt
You shall be taken in account
As pressure considerably mounts
You are one of rare breed
Who has proved it by deed?
No sacrifice is greater than the life itself
You are treasure in our nation’s shelf
The country is in acknowledgement
And in full agreement
But beware about your selfless role
You have always responded to emergency call
Nobody can dare to forget you
“If that is spoken” can rarely be true
Go along with poor brethren
They look at you as doyen
Compare with no other
It is rare honor
The country needs your presence
At home and at border for peace chance
