O The Work And Worth Poem by Gary James Smith

O The Work And Worth

Q The Work And Worth

The work and worth of Jesus Christ
Is beyond all comprehension
For the Creator to become the Son of God
Deserves our utmost attention
Humbling Himself as a man...Hallelujah
Who formed the man Himself
How can we ever think to look to another
When searching for Spiritual help

What strength He showed in love
When showered with contempt
From any temptation that we've ever had
He Himself was not exempt
His love was stunningly beautiful
To that His followers could attest
When they wanted retribution's effect
Instead... Christ looked for man's best

Our sin singed His heart daily
He knew of sins consequence
That is why His message was so clearly given
In His commanding of all men everywhere to repent
He knew the end from the beginning
Of Satan's tactics to kill
To lead men to a forever darkness
To the danmation of their soul's to Hell

Yes the work and worth of Jesus Christ
The results are never diminished
In the hearts who know that One
Who uttered it is finished!
Does your heart need a Hallelujah?
Has it been hankering for some change?
Then do yourself your soul's greatest favor
And call upon Lord Jesus's name!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
