Oath To Poison Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Oath To Poison

An oath to poison.
Betrayed and taken,
As nothing more...
Than a joke.
And done to swear,
Commitment and loyalty to it.
With high profiled witnesses,
Observing this public admission.
Does not look promising.
For the one only conscious,
Of their narcissistic...
Pathological point of view.
Surrounded by revenge seekers.
Fooled, duped, tricked and betrayed.
By one who deceives,
In egotistical self centered ways!
