A prolonged too long kept.
Is a political correctness accepted.
That has projected dishonesty.
Upon those subjected to lives lived,
To face truth as it is.
Whether to hear it to receive.
Without it offending those who keep,
Sheltered to protect childish attitudes.
Growing up,
Is not an easy task to choose and do.
Challenges to face with mistakes made,
Is part of the process.
Yet many refuse these steps to take.
To experience life,
With ups and downs to face.
And lessons from them to learn.
Earning wisdom along the way.
So many remain in denial.
Is if on trial refusing to admit,
Being a human being...
Has for them benefits.
Leaving them to remain immature.
Childish and obedient.
And feeling comforted to stay,
In an expected ignorance.
Taught to teach.
As if part of their heritage.
