Obscure Babble Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Obscure Babble

Who can make the butter fly or tune a little fish
I bet the honey bee won't try if wings are honey dipped
Little boys have puppy tails, and so the tale was 'told'
Simon said, 'To walk to school, and ride the bus back home'

Dillydally, all too lazy, lie all day in bed
Scrambled eggs for breakfast, or scramble off instead
A rhyme is not a rhythm, nor a rhythm written song
Put them both together, and they both will get along

Now the hour fades so quickly with nothing getting done
Clap your feet together like a monkey having fun
Story time is, quiet time; Good Night, from a sleepy Sun
The fun is always over when it only has begun
