Roman god of the sea
You waved your trident and hypnotized me
You captured me just like Triton
I saw the satellite of Neptune as it orbited around me
I watched as it spun in an opposite direction
Its atmosphere intrigued by its own seasons
Icy cold blue ocean waves touched my face
Your seas of diamonds kissed my heart
I was magnitized by your gravitational pull
My blood was thicker than your cosmic oceanic indigo hues
But you still pulled me in as you captured Triton and I
Triton and I faded into each other as we turned away from the dark
Rotating against Neptune's forces we still couldn't escape
Uncovering the truth beneath Poseidon's oceans
We were days away from knowing your fate
Oceans beyond the Earth stood a life inside Neptune's moon
Nitrogen ice burned our souls and molded them into something that was more than we were ever supposed to be
No matter how far we were away from the sun
We danced in the summer solstice of Triton's shadows upon the ocean floors
Where I felt the warmth of you through the flash freezing chorus of its song hidden inside your mind's eyes
You are the one I tell my secrets to when the light of the stars pass through me
It is not a curse as I was the one special enough for them to have chosen me
Show me with my human eyes so I can hear
I need to see what it is that I feel
Show me what you want me to see
Otherwise it is all just an illusion and I am conversing with my own imaginative mind
You never made yourself visible to the naked eye
I can see how far away you are
Everything led me here
It is magical who we are
I am the revelation to your own tribulations
Set to the world to feel our emotions
Feel your heart beating underneath the earth's skin
You brought me back to life
Furthest from the sun I was enticed by your cold dark winds
I feel the chill of the souls as they pass through me
And I see the ghosts of the ones left behind inside my mind
They speak to me as the voice that the living cannot hear
So close to death as their world was ending
Until they all found me
I always thought that they brought me closer to death, but I was wrong...
I have brought them all closer to life as we dance among the shores of Neptune in the oceans of diamonds
