Ode To Heathcliff Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

Ode To Heathcliff

Rating: 3.5

a cloud that floats away
in the red sky
held me stubborn
not to bleed internally
the past that was faded
never will return
even returns miraculously
I am savage and dull
for such sentiments
nay, I cry sometimes
in the manner
Villian Heathcliff cried
for her, lonely in that
freezing night at the window
"darling do come to me".
