Ode To The Human Spirit Poem by Dave Dafes

Ode To The Human Spirit

O, resilient flame that dwells in mortal clay,
A spark divine, undimmed by earthly night,
Thou art the essence, the dawn of every day,
A beacon shining in adversity's spite.

In every heart, a melody untold,
A symphony of courage, undeterred,
Thou art the lighthouse, brave and bold,
Guiding ships through seas where shadows stirred.

When tempests rage and thunderous clouds convene,
The human spirit rises, unconfined,
Defying doubt, in realms unseen,
It soars on wings of strength, of heart and mind.

Through trials and triumphs, a ceaseless dance,
Thy fortitude, an anthem, loud and clear,
In every step, a daring stance,
Conquering fears that whisper in the ear.

O, human spirit, with resilience adorned,
In unity, a force that none can sever,
Thy light within, forever unadorned,
A testament to life's enduring endeavor.

As seasons change, and time unfolds its scroll,
Thy flame burns bright, undaunted, free,
An ode to thee, in spirit and in soul,
For thou art the beacon of eternity.
