Of All The Names That Mythic Nature Holds

Of all the names that mythic nature holds
Caledonia, you are my home
My gold my hoard my distant strand
Whatever God has saved for man
Souvenir of Eden bewept, be spoken
Over the roiling of the world
Envy and strife
Will come to naught
The sly tripping on the stairs
By devils so aware of our innocent striving
Let them take a care
That upward God will wend us
On his wings of fire
And in his loving ire
Repay
Those who mocked us in the fray
To wound and dissemble our dreaming.
