Of Canada Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Of Canada

Of Canada

Here, like anywhere,
Race heroes and villains
As seen in Bollywood…

They vary with one's taste,
This is one examples….

To me, Duncan Scott
Is devil in his thoughts,
Even if is great,
In writing his poems.

To many, is founder
Of clubs, literature,
Is evil-character-ed!

To me is murderer
Even if, he never
Was directly, killer.

To speak straight
And being more direct:
"Normally the butcher
Does not kill, slaughter,
But cuts corpse to pieces."

His position's sharp knife,
Skinned and hung too high.

His orders indirect
Always moved, went against
The Natives with whose help
He settled, lived, ran life.

"In child kill Indian, "
He said and wrote about
The Natives: "Have pride."

He was a snake-tongued,
Spoke right and did wrong,
As has been the way of? ? ?
