Off Course Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Off Course

Off Course

Of course, Americans are friendly
Towards north country that is neighbourly
Of course, Canadians are somewhat bold
It is not us, but country that is cold
Of course, we had better end of free trade
And thought that we would always have it made
Of course, the existing powers that be
Are sending us and them into jeopardy

Of course, we are off course
The Prez needs a new course

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In Florida, everyone was using the term, Of Course, so this is my tribute to the term and to all the friendly Americans that I had met during my birthday vacation.
