Beautiful lonely heart,
what is it that you seek?
what can quench your thirst?
upon the hours of longing.

The bird is singing his song in a mist,
you can't see him
but you can't miss,
the tender feel of his music,
lovers stroll,
so slowly,
holding hands
steeling kisses,
stained with blushed cheeks,
under the tree of life.

Oh lonely heart,
so filled with a cup of sorrow,
so empty, without wings to fly,
you have captured and bewildered me
in this sadness,
in this gentle embrace,
Oh beautiful heart!
