A new wind arrived
blew the dust away
brought a new sway
justice will be done
history is never gone
far away it cannot run
from braves whom remind
us of it today
crying at the graves
for their darkest nights
Yerevan is a good mother
though strangled
entangled within angry boarders
her lost children return
she offers her sweetest grapes
as if drawn from her blood
in dedication to God
young people will bend
to her wealthy breasts
appreciated
and while the old ones tell their stories
again
courage shall straighten their backs. M
