Old Chairman Mao has caused the deaths of more people than anyone else in history 'tis said
But in his Homeland of China he is their National hero and none there dare speak of the dead
The millions of victims of China's so called saviour if they only could speak from the grave
They may tell a different story of one who was anything but brave.

They may tell of a ruthless dictator one who ruled without empathy
For the people who choose to oppose him he never did show sympathy
So many abuse their power in a bad way and Mao not one of the few
Leaders that one could name as a humanitarian and to the higher self remained true.

We hear so many good stories of Mao of the negatives of him we seldom hear
His so called marvellous revolution led to suffering, death and fear
For the millions who choose to be different a monster the Chairman did create
His soldiers killed millions of people they did not deserve such a fate.

To say and write only good things of Mao is something that so many do
But that he was responsible for the deaths of millions of good people is not saying anything new
Old Mao long with the departed and 'tis said ill of the dead do not speak
But those who abuse their power such as he did are callous and mentally weak
