Old Days Are Forever Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Old Days Are Forever

Take me back to the old days
When we would run with the rain
Falling like showers on our face
And in laughter, we knew no pain.

Take me back to the old days
When music was soothing and mellow
Joys were simpler in so many ways
When Home was the place we could go.

Take me back to the old days
Perhaps in memory we may linger
Old friends and family find a trace
In our hearts, old days are forever.
