Old Friend Poem by David Harris

Old Friend

Rating: 5.0

Remember the days,
silent words and joyful smiles,
of shy glances and tender hands.

Remember the times
of the picture shows,
and of almost back rows.

Remember too,
understanding looks and feeling same,
not of love, but of friendship bloom.

Now all gone,
as you are to me,
missed are the words you did not say.

I like this a lot. It's short, but has pages of meaning. Abbs
