Old guards
Saturday,6th October 2018

"Why don't you make way for others"
you are blocking the way for youngsters
so long you are here
we shall always fear

such was the outburst
from the young poet
who was constantly trying to find the place
but was thwarted all the time in the race

such is the scene nowadays
we all know old poets have to part ways
yet, they go on writing
and help in igniting the passion

yes, this can be a great move
and can prove
as an energy booster
for the veterans to offer more

after all, it is not the contribution alone
but a long way in the field has gone
for the services of the mankind
and they have the rights for few words to find by the compatriots
