Old Person In The Driver's Seat Poem by Dorsey Baker

Old Person In The Driver's Seat

When an old person is in the driver's seat
It's someone who knows the road
They obey the speed limit
Follow the rules of the road
As they watch the traffic moving
They see just how fast or slow
They need to go and they know just
How to adjust!

An old person ain't trying
To be no speed demon!
They ain't trying
To show off or show out!
An old person in the driver's seat
Is someone with years
Of experience behind them!
