Old West Fest Poem by Ima Ryma

Old West Fest

For me, here's How the West was Won.
Legends bigger than life they were -
Roy Rogers and Bat Masterson,
Maverick and The Lone Ranger.
Gunsmoke blurred The Wild, Wild West.
As Wanted Dead or Alive ran
From Wyatt Earp and all the rest
Into the sight of The Rifleman.
By Wagon Train, by Wells Fargo,
By Iron Horse through the Big Valley,
From Laramie to Laredo
Came the Bonanza filled Fury.

Tall T.V. tales full of fast guns
Reloading glories in reruns.
