Omega Poem by arundhati sinha

Omega

Rating: 2.0

I am the end.
For new beginnings
Need the old to pass.
The end of a time
The last of a memory
The death of an emotion.
Not cruel, but ever so generous
I give way to the fertile soil
Nurturing the feeble seed
Of times to come
Lives to live
Memories to create.
I am the fullstop
Leading to the next line
Could you write
A paragraph without me?
Much less a story.
I am the pause
The breath
The comma.
I am the conflict
And the end to one.
let me be.
For only in endings
There is longing.

Very well composed verse full of pun on full-stop, comma and many meaningful expressions. I liked it much; omega is not end of something but beginning of something else is very well highlighted.
