On An Evenings Moon

The moon peers through cloud
like an astral being
something beautiful captivates
the mind, soul, heart
calling for poetry to be written
as pen touches paper
or the finger to key
that captured picture
illuminates all about it
calling, calling
write to me
and there I stood alone
looking upon an evenings moon
