On Remembrance Day Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

On Remembrance Day

Rating: 5.0

Names in rows on slate
Dying for the heads of state
Not sure if they hear
Our prayers whispered near
They fought for freedom
They fought with might
Though, the guns are silenced
We can hear them in the night
Born long ago
And died too young
Let our voices sing
So their spirits ring

It's a tearful read, as we head into the future, I feel we will be adding more names to slate. Thank you LeeAnn
