We lay there side by side, watching the sky
As with slow paces the moon and the stars pass by
Away from the pell-mell of circadian chores
We lay still on the sands and nearby a sea roars
No one is there to wake us to disturb the peace
Hand in hand we lay and enjoy the heavenly bliss
The sea kisses our feet and recedes away
It returns with pearls and dump them where we lay
The soft breeze lifts her hair and places it on my face
A perfume begins to float and makes my heart to rejoice
Our domain is silent we lay far away from the crowd
Inebriated in love we feel good under night's comforting shroud
Soft feet trod by us making soft sound on sand
With awe they stare at us as we lay close hand in hand
Many a dawn break upon us and many a night fall
We lay there still in peace far away from anyone's call
