An Autumn afternoon
Where solitude reigns
Broken only by
Scampering squirrels
Scurrying through
Scarlet leaves-
As the once golden sunlight
Slides into oblivion,
The pungent scent of cedar
Mingles with pine
And the soft lapping of
The waves sing softly,
Soothing my soul.
